They cited declining search traffic and widespread reuse of their data without attribution, which eroded the ad and affiliate revenue that previously funded their testing operation.
How is SimplyTheBest different from RTINGS?
RTINGS runs a single testing lab with proprietary measurements. We take a different approach: we synthesize scores from dozens of named expert reviewers into a multi-source consensus. Instead of one lab's opinion, you get the verdict of the entire review community. Both approaches have merit. Ours is free and transparent.
